When you hear the term “MUSIC” what’s the first thing that struck your mind? Nowadays, music is all about pop, rock, jazz, etc. But, it’s something beyond. Well, when it comes to me I love listening to melody and janapada. Every summer since my childhood I had been seeing the act of janapada. Every word in janapada expresses the emotional struggles they faced. Every state has it’s own “Janapada” styles. Even today “Janapada’s Lokha” is rehearsed in the states like “Karnataka &Telangana”. It was the realms, republic, and kingdoms of the “Vedic” period on the Indian sub-continent. Every time we hear of those songs there would be a positive impact and connect to our childhood memories, isn’t it?
